50 Years Service

The London FA's very own
Basil Stallard recently celebrated 50 years in football and the
occasion was marked when Football Association Chairman, Geoff
Thompson, presented him with a special award in recognition of his
work over the years. |
|
|
|
|
|
| A Vice President and Director
of the London FA, Basil first Registered as a Class 3b referee in
1947, he was promoted to Class 1 in 1952 and eventually
retired from refereeing in July 1975.

| He was the London FA Referee
Examination Secretary and examiner from 1969 to 73, then in 1973 to
date he has been the Association Treasurer. |

| He was also a referee examiner
