Its aim is to assist the development of active coaches through the sharing of the latest coaching ideas and good practice.

The executive committee, chaired by Alex Welsh, organises monthly practical sessions led by the country’s top coaches. The annual programme has been designed to co-ordinate its activities with FACA. Each session takes place at Highbury Stadium (7.30pm-9.30pm). The LFCA has its own magazine entitled "Soccer Coach"

The LFCA has forged closer links with the London Football Association this year by becoming an integral part of the London FA’s development plan.

The current annual subscription is £15.00, which represents tremendous value for money and includes entrance to all sessions, discounts from Forsport, a membership ID card and "Soccer Coach" magazine.
