League winners Ryan FC were stunned by 2 first-half goals from Harry Gostling, as Clapton FC’s high intensity game prevented them from playing their normal game.

The turning point of the whole game was probably when Ryan missed a penalty just before half-time, as they had started to dominate the game. 

A goal not long after the start of the second-half saw Ryan take more heart from the game but a brilliant goal from Ton’s captain, Joe Gent (pictured above), settled nerves again. 

A handling error from Jay Williams in the Clapton goal saw Ryan get back to 3-2 but Clapton were able to see the game out with some brilliant defending, especially from Man of the Match John Georgiou.
