Whilst many of you will still be playing your remaining league and cup fixtures for the 2016-17 season, the London FA Board of Directors and Staff have been busy making preparations for the 2017-18 season.
London FA has this week opened its Affiliation Window for the 2017-18 season. This is the earliest in recent years that London FA has opened its window, giving clubs much longer to prepare for the new season.
As you will be aware, we have a new Insurance Provider on board this year. We have recently finalised a 3 year deal with Sportsguard which not only brings the costs of affiliation down for our clubs, but also makes the process easier, as you will now be able to buy both Public Liability Insurance and Personal Accident Insurance through your affiliation.
Daniel Culley from Sportsguard has recently said “ We would like to welcome the London FA and all its affiliated members to Sportsguard. We are proud to be the chosen Insurer for the London FA and its members and we look forward to working with you all next season going forward, to ensure we can build a successful relationship in all areas of Grass Roots Football. With Sportsguard comes 25 years of experience and commitment insuring Grass Roots Football and the fantastic people who work within it.
We now look forward to bringing this experience and commitment to London FA and its members.”
Please see the attachment entitled 'London FA Proposal Form for Clubs' for further information on the level of cover you will get for both Public Liability and Personal Accident Insurances for the 2017-18 season.
If you run a small-sided or futsal club, please see the attachment entitled 'London FA Proposal Form for Futsal Small Sided' for further information on the level of cover you can receive by purchasing your insurances through London FA and Sportsguard.
For further information on the changes to the affiliation process for the forthcoming season, including significant changes to the safeguarding requirements for youth clubs, please click the attachment entitled 'London FA 2017 Affiliation Document' to download a copy of the London FA ‘Affiliation Document’.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for continued support and to wish you all the best for the remainder for the 2016-17 season and for the new season ahead.
