AFA & Lonsar Training Morning and Barbecue

The AFA & London Referees’ Society is opening its doors to all London FA referees with an invitation to attend their Annual Practical Training session

After registration (from 09:30) it starts at 10:00 with a warm-up followed by practical sessions covering:

  • decision-making at attacking free kicks
  • playing advantage
  • managing ceremonial free kicks
  • the sin bin session.

There will be an opportunity to discuss the Law Amendments this year too.

This event is fully supported by the London FA as one of the development opportunities offered to all London FA referees, and has proved very popular in the past. It is fun, it is hands-on training in line with the FA’s current thinking, using topics they have developed for the FA CORE elite groups of referees. This is a great opportunity to blow away the cobwebs and get into gear for the new season.

At this event the Society will also be offering those who have never been members of the Society or the  Referees' Association one years' free membership - all you'll need do is provide your contact details to gain this valuable benefit.

For catering purposes - if you are intending to come to the BBQ,  please contact the Society Chairman Bart O'Toole at bartholomewotoole@gmail.com .

All referees are welcome.
