Everybody at London FA would like to congratulate our very own Steve Child, who has been named as one of the officials for the Heads Up FA Cup Final between Arsenal and Chelsea on Saturday 1 August.


London FA referee Steve has been named as Assistant VAR for the showpiece fixture, which is to kick-off at 5.30pm at Wembley Stadium.

Cheshire FA’s Anthony Taylor is the man in the middle, assisted by Durham FA’s Gary Beswick and Wiltshire FA’s Adam Nunn, with Manchester FA’s Chris Kavanagh the fourth official. Lee Betts of Norfolk FA is the reserve assistant referee.

Meanwhile, Steve will be assisting the game’s VAR, Birmingham FA’s Stuart Attwell.
