PGMOL to Host Webinars Focusing on Diversity and Inclusion

Referees can now access the first of two webinars highlighting diversity and inclusion within the field.

The Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) are running a series of webinars as part of the organisation’s wider work and commitment to diversity and inclusion.

The Breaking Barriers series will see high profile names from refereeing and other areas of football, share their personal stories of achieving success to help to pass on key information, advice and guidance to aspiring referees and those with an interest in knowing more about the profession.

The first session kicked off on 18 February, hosted by Sky Sports Presenter Mark McAdam, featuring:

Howard Webb, one of the most respected referees in world football, and Sam Allison, referee in the EFL and firefighter.

The second webinar session of the Breaking Barriers series will follow a week later, on 25 February at 5.00pm GMT, with a panel featuring Sian Massey-Ellis and Jawahir Roble.

The sessions are for people of all backgrounds but will target those from under-represented groups.
