Disability Cup Live On BT Sport

The FA Disability Cup will be returning this year on July 17 and 18, taking place at St. George’s Park.

For the first time ever, the cup will be broadcast on BT Sport 1HD as well as Facebook Live!

The Disability Cup is the largest competition of its kind and ensures that players on impairment-specific football teams have a national FA competition of their own. There will be five cup finals that are scheduled to take place across this weekend with each respective final being in partnership with a range of impairment specific organisations.

On Saturday 17th July, the FA Disability Cup finals will be kicked off with the Powerchair Cup final, in partnership with the Wheelchair Football Association at 11.00. Following this, the Cerebral Palsy Cup Final in partnership with CP sport will kick off at 13.00. To close out Saturday’s finals, the Partially Sighted Cup in partnership with the National Partially Sighted League will kick off at 15.15.

For Sunday 18th July, The Amputee Cup final in partnership with England Amputee Football Association will start off the day’s finals kicking off at 11.00. Following that, the Blind Cup final in partnership with the National Blind Football League will round out the Disability Cup as they are set to kick off at 13.00.

As said, the finals will be broadcast on BT Sports 1HD and Facebook Live for those not able to attend in person. Any and all support is fully appreciated as this cup marks the return of disability football following a terribly tough year for everyone.
