Trapped in Zone One – What Makes Tower Hamlets Proud?

London FA speaks to the founder of Trapped in Zone One.

For Black History Month, this year’s theme is ‘Proud to be’. We caught up with Bablu Miah, the founder of Trapped in Zone One, to discuss the organisations plans for the month of October.

This year, Trapped in Zone One will be creating a new community mural in Shadwell by finding out what makes Tower Hamlets proud to be a diverse borough.

This campaign aims to make Black History Month 2021 personal and unique to individuals, families, and communities, focusing on how we are all making history and celebrate the contributions and achievements of Black people throughout history.

The Proud To Be campaign focuses on encouraging young people to share what they are Proud To Be.

Trapped in Zone One will be holding a FREE creative workshop on 11 October 2021 from 18:00-20:00 at Tarling East Community Centre, 63 Martha Street, E1 2PA.
