Extra Time !

21CC, the BBC’s digital classroom, and The London FA have been working in partnership to produce ‘Extra Time’ a Football Focus style show that takes a fresh look at the World Cup action.

The programme is entirely produced by Year 9 students from across London and the North-West. It will cover highlights from the World Cup, and get the opinions and views from the youth in the community. The show will also cover a number of topics affecting the grassroots game today.

Five schools from across London will spend the next month producing the show at some of the capitals top football stadia.
   - The New Den (Millwall FC)
   - Wembley (National Stadium)
   - White Hart Lane (Tottenham Hotspur)
   - Emirates (Arsenal FC)
   - Stamford Bridge (Chelsea FC)

The Extra Time programmes will be aired every Tuesday and Friday throughout the World Cup on the 21CC website bbc.co.uk/21cc and the BBC Sport website.

They will also be broadcast on the Community Channel on Sky (563), Virgin Media and Freeview,

There are also 16 Big Screens in city centres up and down the country where the show will be aired for everybody enjoying the World Cup.

   - Archbishop Tenison’s
   - Burlington Danes
   - Media Trust.
