December 1st brought some important changes at the London FA with
the appointment of two new Referee Development Officers. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Andy Porter and Adrian Shorter have been
charged with the recruitment and retention of referees and all
referee matters within the London FA boundaries

After over a year of prevaricating over the
funding of RDO’s the FA has recognized the need for these
officers in
London
.

|
The two candidates were unanimously appointed
after their interviews with Ed Stone (FA Regional Referee
Manager), David Fowkes (LFA Chief Executive), Tony Sharples (LFA
representative to The FA) and Lockie Bramzell (Chairman
of the LFA Referee’s Committee).

|
These vitally important jobs will be
challenging but the interview panel were confident that they
had appointed the right people to meet the challenge. |
