Fitness Tests


It is not obligatory for referees to pass a Fitness Test until they progress towards semi-professional and professional football. The requirements that then have to be achieved are set out below:-
 
Level 1 officials referee on the Barclays Premiership, the Coca Cola Championship and Coca Cola Leagues One and Two.
 
Level 2 officials referee on the Conference National, the FA Premier Reserve League and, in the London area, the Pontin’s Holidays Combination.
 
Level 3 officials referee, in the London area, on the Conference South, the Dr Marten’s Football League, the Ryman Football League and the Ridgeons Eastern Counties Football League Premier Division.
 
Level 4 officials referee, in the London area, on the Cherry Red Records Combined Counties Football League, the Westview Essex Senior Football League, the Kentish Observer Football League, the Minerva Footballs Spartan South Midlands Football League and the Suburban Football League.
