Mini-Soccer Laws of the Game
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Mini Soccer is the version of
football for players under the age of 10 years. It has
its own Laws of the Game, which are similar to, but
different from, mainstream 11-a-side football. |
 |
| |
| It is extremely popular:
about a third of youth football (i.e. soccer for
people under the age of 18 years) takes the form of
Mini Soccer. For more details of Mini Soccer, please

| |
| At the moment, there is no
specific Mini Soccer Referee qualification. London
Football Association is involved in the piloting of a
Course with a view to providing a specific Mini Soccer
Referee qualification for parents and club officials,
etc., who regularly officiate in Mini Soccer. |
| |
| This Course is
being piloted with the assistance of local Mini Soccer
providers. Further details will be publicised if the
pilot scheme goes well and the FA agrees officially to
recognise the qualifications of candidates who
complete the Course successfully. |
| |
|
|
The Mini Soccer Laws of the
Game Course, whilst not leading to a refereeing
qualification, outlines the philosophy of Mini Soccer and
the importance of understanding the needs of children in
football. The Course covers the role of the Referee in Mini
Soccer and the Laws of Mini Soccer.
The Mini Soccer Laws of the
Game Course is of three hours duration and is normally held
on one evening. There is no examination but candidates will
receive an Attendance Certificate, which will be valid for
two years.
Mini Soccer Laws of the Game
Training Courses are arranged in conjunction with local
providers of Mini Soccer as and when demand requires.
