Females in
London
are getting the opportunity to become qualified referees thanks to
two female only referee courses that have been organised in the
capital.
London FA are running a course at
London Marathon Playing Fields, Greenwich on 1st, 8th and 15th March
and another course at The Hub, Regents Park on 5th, 12th and 19th
April.
Natalie Huntley
, Women & Girls Development Officer for
North London
said “It is great to be able to offer females an alternative way
to get involved in football, and it’s also a good way for coaches
and players to expand their knowledge.”
Emma Barnes, Women & Girls
Development Officer for
South London
added “There are opportunities out there for females to move up
the referee ladder, and it would be great to see more of them get
involved, so this course is the perfect starting point.”
Anyone interested in attending one of
the course should contact Natalie or Emma at natalie.huntley@londonfa.com
