Paid Coaching Role – AFC Wimbledon Foundation

As the workload of the AFC Wimbledon Foundation is increasing, they are looking to recruit additional casual coaches to deliver curriculum time and after-school sessions Monday-Friday 3-5pm, social inclusion early evening work and Saturday morning and holiday Player Development courses. 

The role may lead to a potential to increase hours to include full-day and half-day school delivery depending on performance. Applicants are be expected to be available for interview in the next two weeks, with work starting immediately afterwards.

Volunteer Coach in Camden – PRIME Football for Over 35s 

PRIME runs weekly football sessions for over 35s with the aim of getting midlife men physically and socially active in their community. 

With men being at high risk of mental and physical health issues in their 40s and 50s, PRIME is on a mission to improve health outcomes amongst this age group. 

PRIME is looking for a volunteer coach to lead sessions at Talacre Community Sports Centre in Kentish Town on Saturdays at 10am, following a philosophy of fun and friendly football for all abilities and fitness levels. 

The ideal candidate will have strong coordination and leadership skills, be a community champion and have previous coaching experience. Applicants do not need to have any coaching badges (PRIME will provide basic training) however, Level 1 would be beneficial. 

This voluntary role is for someone with the desire to make an impact and be part of a fantastic community of like-minded people. PRIME coaches can participate in the session at no cost and will provided with all equipment including their own personalised coach sweatshirt.

Volunteer Coach – The Lockwood Football Academy

Based in SE17, The Lockwood Football Academy is looking for an enthusiastic coach(es) to help work with their sessions.

Sessions run on Monday evenings 6-7:0pm and Friday evenings 5:30-7:30pm. There are also opportunities to work with their partner club and run teams who play on Sundays.

This is a voluntary role for a coach with the desire to grow themselves while helping local children aged 4-14 improve their football, self-confidence and community spirit. The role could lead to paid opportunities as the club grows. 

Applicants should ideally have experience working with young children, and creating a fun, friendly and developmental environment. 

In addition, the applicant should have:

Voluntary Coach Role – The Fulham Deaf Football Club

The Fulham Deaf Football Club are looking for a new coach for their team. 

Fulham Deaf Football Club are an affiliated club in their own right and play in the Surrey South Eastern Combination League 

This is a voluntary role for someone with a desire to coach a great group of footballers which includes 8 international deaf footballers and a young enthusiastic squad developing around them. 
The club's philosophy is based on family values of working together as a unit, continually looking for ways to improve and deliver a good standard of football. Previous coaches have progress onto greater challenges including coaching the National Deaf team. 

The ideal candidate will be a good communicator, willing to pick up the basics of BSL if they are unable to use BSL themselves. BSL training is not essential as there are backroom staff and players who hear well and will be able to support the coach during talks. 

Applicants should ideally have experience working with players of a relatively high level or a developing group of young footballers, being able to provide examples of when they have supported players to achieve better outcomes.

In addition to the qualities listed above you should have the following:

•         Preferably UEFA B or above - although coaches working toward UEFA B will be considered, if they are the right person for the role.
•         In date Emergency First Aid 
•         In date FA Safeguarding 
•         An Enhanced DBS Check
•         Be available for training on a Thursday evening at the Training Ground.
