Facilities and Investment

From looking to improve your facilities, to getting funding for old goalposts, or maybe you are just looking for a local site to play football at; the London FA is here to support you.

In partnership with the Football Foundation, we are looking to transform our local community and unlock the power of football across London. The FA, Premier League and Sport England created the Football Foundation in 2000 to drive investment to improve grassroots football facilities. Since its launch, it has invested in more than 16,000 projects across England.

Despite this success, improving facilities is more vital than ever as much more needs to be done to transform the fortunes of poor-quality grass pitches, to address the huge under-supply of artificial pitches and support local teams with essential development to their facilities

The London FA play a vital role in the identification, activation, development and delivery of facility projects at a local level. Within this section of our website you'll find information on everything from finding a local facility to play at, to pitch improvement and developing new facilities.
