Following the suspension to football, at this time no DBS verifications are to be completed. 
 
The Disclosure and Barring Service require this process to be conducted face to face and any travel to do this is not deemed as essential. At this time you are also unable to meet with others outside of your household. 
 
This hold is to ensure compliance with the new Government national lockdown restrictions. 
 
We encourage clubs to continue to submit applications where required, however they must be left at the verification stage at this time. 
 
The FA will assess this situation on or shortly after the national lockdown eases and we will communicate any further updates regarding DBS verifications.
