Vacancy - Head of Football Services

We are looking for a Head of Football Services to join our team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the London FA, as Head of Football Services.

The football services department comprises our key governing and safeguarding work, to include administrating football discipline across the capital, ensuring that the game is as safe and enjoyable as it can be (especially for young people and adults at risk) and overseeing the delivery of our cup competition programme.

This role is pivotal to the success of the London FA. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in developing and implementing strategy and be able to demonstrate how that strategy has positively impacted customer service, and/or, the organisation. We are seeking a leader who can positively inspire others to achieve and navigate their team through change. The ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels within the organisation, including at Board level, is essential in order to be successful. Although this is a role which demands a high degree of strategic thinking and exceptional leadership, there will also be occasions when you will need to roll up your sleeves and perform some basic tasks, just to get the job done. Therefore, an ability to quickly understand and navigate the FA’s Customer Relationship Management platforms will also be important.

You will be joining a diverse and dynamic organisation that cares passionately about the role grassroots football can play to change people’s lives. We value and develop our employees and promote several benefits, to include very flexible working arrangements, numerous staff development and progression opportunities and a generous pension scheme.
