grassroots discipline guide 2024-25

This handbook covers Disciplinary Procedures for all players, teams, clubs and leagues dealt with by County FAs under County Disciplinary Procedures at Step 5 and below.

This e-Book will provide information on what procedures are adopted and required for match based discipline and interactive learning and education around the decision making of appeals and hearings.

SIN BINS

Temporary Dismissals

Temporary dismissals also known as 'sin bins' have been introduced across all levels of grassroots football to improve levels of respect and fair play in the game. Any player committing dissent will find themselves given a 10-minute temporary dismissal from the pitch.
