We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible and qualified football coaches to join our team. There are training sessions every Saturday you will have the opportunity to coach at our skills development classes and after school clubs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or assist in planning and delivering training sessions

• Ensure child safety and attend to first aid when required

• Manage team selections if you are managing one of the youth teams

• Complete match reports and player reports when required

Essential Requirements:

Overview

South West London based, FA Charter Standard Accredited, London Falcons FC are looking for a reliable, positive and enthusiastic coach to plan and deliver weekly training sessions at the new, state of the art, Falcon Park in Battersea on Wednesday nights.

We are one of the UK's leading LGBT friendly, inclusive football teams and participate in the third tier of the Wimbledon and District League along with national competitions around the country with an international annual tour taking place in the summer. We are a one club team and have been in existence for 15 years with a current membership of around 30 active players.

We are ideally looking for a FA level 2 coach looking to consolidate their learnings or a FA level 1 coach working towards their level 2 badges. We would be an excellent team to work with, particularly in respect of the latter. We are able to offer some remuneration to the right person in consideration of their time and travel expenses and would welcome interest via this website or any of our social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

-Liaising with the existing management team in terms of establishing a team development plan

-Devising training sessions geared toward achieving the goals and objectives of that plan

-Running and managing those sessions and ensuring those goals and objectives are met (should match day involvement be required for exhibiting in a portfolio compiled for level 2 qualification, we are happy to support the coach in this endeavour)

Desired Requirements

-As a minimum, FA level 1 qualifications should have been achieved and the right coach will have also either already achieved level 2 or be working toward it.

-Previous experience of working with 11 a side football teams, ideally men's open aged teams however we are happy to hear from junior coaches looking to broaden their horizons.

Pay Rate

Age UK in Waltham Forest- Activities Coordinator wanted

Age UK Waltham Forest is introducing ‘Walking Football’ sessions for older people in the borough. ‘Walking Football’ is a non-contact version of football played at walking pace (no running allowed) but with similar rules to Association Football.

Sessions give older participants the opportunity to ‘play football again’, to socialise and to access the proven physical and mental well- being benefits of exercise. Sessions take place indoors.

‘Walking Football activity volunteers’ support Session Leads in running the walking football programme. This will include setting up, admin and individual support of service users.

There will also be the opportunity to undertake FA Playmaker training as part of the role (optional).

Time commitment

1-2 hours a week for a minimum of 6 months.
Sessions are taking place on Monday mornings in Leyton and
Thursday mornings in Walthamstow (timings likely to be 10.30-11.30am) starting end of January.

Tulse Hill JFC – Coach needed for immediate start  

Tulse Hill Juniors, is a FA Charter Development club and South London’s original and oldest junior football club. Founded in 1964, it has been attracting young talent from across South-East London for almost sixty years, and now has over 200 girls and boy members between the ages of six to 13.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to coach our U13 Girls team.

Coaching hours are 10am-12pm every Saturday morning in Dulwich Park, with matches (2 hr commitment) played on a Sunday morning.

Applicants must have excellent communication skills, be reliable and punctual and be able to work individually and as part of a team.

Pay rates range from £12- £18 per hour depending on qualifications.

Initial responsibilities:
• The lesson planning and delivery of football coaching sessions for U13 Girls at Dulwich Park every Saturday 10.00 am to 12.00
• Ensure sessions are fun, educational and enjoyable.
• Coach team on weekly Sunday match days which are held in South London and across Kent.
