London FA is excited to announce the first CPD workshop of 2019/20 for Club and League Welfare Officers.

Taking place at Pimlico Academy on Thursday 10 October, the workshop has been put together through feedback collected from last season’s sessions. As a result, this workshop will provide a session that we feel will benefit you as you begin the new campaign.

The FA have integrated a new DBS system within Whole Game System, which all clubs and leagues will be required to use to complete CRC checks. London FA will be showing you what the new system will look like – and how this will change from the current process.

The second half of the event will involve scenario-based workshops, where there will be discussion on best and poor practice. This will give Club and League Welfare Officers an opportunity to listen and converse amongst peers, whilst gaining insight into dealing with concerns.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the evening, where very light refreshments will be provided.
