Football's Staying At Home

Football's Staying Home Launched by The FA

Resources available to keep you engaged with the beautiful game from home.

With the recent COVID-19 pandemic having seen football of all levels suspended and everyone encouraged to remain indoors, The FA has launched the Football’s Staying Home campaign to help keep players, volunteers and supporters active whilst at home.

Offering all types of activities and advice, the new resource, available on The FA’s website, is a great place to go if you or your children are looking for something to do and ensuring you remain in line with the Government’s latest guidelines.

Football’s Staying Home is split into four sections, all detailing valuable aspects to help keep your health and wellbeing in top condition away from the pitch.

‘Match Fit’ offers the best ways for individuals to keep healthy in line with the latest Government advice in relation to the coronavirus, including handwashing.

Elsewhere, ‘Home Support’ is an extremely valuable section that offers assistance with regards to mental health and remaining positive. This includes guidance from The FA and also looks at campaigns such as Every Mind Matters and Heads Up.

To help players and supporters keep active at home, ‘Extra Time’ is also a fantastic place to turn. Soccercise, FA Superkicks, Disney activities and various football challenges are all included for you and your family to have a go at.

Finally, with children remaining at home following the national shutting of schools, Football’s Staying Home also offers the ‘Team Talk’ section to allow kids to remain on top of their education and keep their minds sharp. This section gives plenty of great, educational activities such as colour ins, Maths Mania, quizzes and much more.

If you’re looking to keep yourself active for the next few weeks, make sure you visit the Football’s Coming Home section on The FA website by following the link below.

Meanwhile, if you’ve already had a try at some of the great activities, make sure you let London FA know on social media and include the hashtag #FootballsStayingHome.
