Edutain+ Sessions Now On Offer

ActiveWestminster to host a series of disability sports and activity sessions in August.

Throughout the course of August 2020, ActiveWestminster is hosting a series of Edutain+ sessions to help enable disabled people to enjoy a host of sports and get active.

Edutain+ is open to disabled people aged between 8 and 16-years who live and/or study in Westminster

Hosted at Edward Wilson Primary School (W2 5TL), the sessions cost JUST £1 each.

Sessions will take place between 10am and 3pm on the following dates:

- 4, 5, 6 August
- 11, 12 13 August
- 18, 19, 20 August


Included as just some of the activities are:

- New age kurling
- Parachute games
- Football
- Basketball
- Boccia
- Table cricket
- Polybat
- Athletics

All completed forms should be returned via email to leonard.lionel@sportwestminster.org 

In accordance with Government guidance, each session has also been formed with COVID-19 safety measures in place, with temperature checks administered to all participants/staff on arrival. If readings are too high, entry will be refused.

In addition, no people other than young people and staff are allowed on site, with drop-off and pick-up to take place at the front gate.

A number of hand sanitizer stations will be placed around the facility and staff will be provided with gloves, masks and hand sanitizer.

Participants will be working in bubble groups and all equipment is to be disinfected after use.
