Time to Talk Day 2021

Time to Talk Day - 4 February 2021

Clubs can now download a host of assets, courtesy of Time to Change.

London FA are proud to support Time to Change’s #TimeToTalk Day, which takes place on 4 February 2021.

Time to Talk encourages open discussion on the topic of mental health, raising awareness of mental health and to help challenge the stigma that surrounds mental health, even today. COVID-19 has meant that many people have felt isolated, vulnerable and anxious about the world we live in and that is not something to be ashamed of.

The more conversations we have, the more myths we can bust and barriers we can break down, helping to end the shame that too many of us with mental health problems are made to feel.

This year, we are encouraging our leagues and clubs to get your players, coaches, volunteers, supporters and local community talking about mental health using the Time to Talk Day Bingo. You can use the bingo card to help start conversations and get everyone thinking about mental health.

By getting involved this Time to Talk Day you can help make this generation more open to mental health than any before.

You can sign-up for Time to Talk Day, how to get involved and find loads of resources on the Time to Change website

We also have some fantastic resources from the mental health charity, Mind. Their mental health support for the sport and physical activity sector highlights how mental health and physical activity are interlinked, how the sport and physical activity can support and engage people experiencing mental health problem to be active.
