Level Playing Field Releases Its Unite For Access Film For 2023

Roy Hodgson comments on the film

Level Playing Field has released its official 2023 Unite For Access film before its campaign launch on Saturday.

The charity produces a film each year to capture the importance of live sports for disabled sports fans.

The film is shared widely across social media and shown on big screens inside sports stadiums across England and Wales throughout the two-week celebration.

This year, the film features disabled supporters from three clubs - Wycombe Wanderers, Bolton Wanderers and MK Dons.

Former England Manager and Level Playing Field patron Roy Hodgson said: "Our Unite For Access film shows just what live sport means to all fans - no matter their disability - and the crucial role live sport plays in day-to-day lives.

"The campaign highlights why good access and inclusion in live sports venues are vital and the continuous need for better inclusivity for all, regardless of disability.

"I am proud to get behind this campaign as we continue to Unite For Access."

Hundreds of sports clubs across England and Wales are expected to celebrate the campaign by dedicating a match day to Unite For Access during the two weeks between Saturday, 25 February and Sunday, 12 March.
