London FA are proud to announce that Levin Dookhun from Estudiantes London has been awarded Grassroots Young Volunteer of the Year 2023!

Levin Dookhun is a coach, referee, and player for Estudiantes. He has made immense progress since joining the club four years ago, volunteering much of his time to facilitate, officiate, coach, and lead football and futsal provision. 

Since he joined the club, he has achieved his BTEC Level 2 and completed qualifications in officiating and coaching. He has been instrumental in helping the club develop their inclusion football team, inspiring other young people with special educational needs to take part in football. Levin was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award at Estudiantes for being a brilliant role model, which Eric Dier presented to him.

Levin stands out because of his commitment to providing opportunities to others. He has now progressed to paid work at a local school, setting a wonderful example to how volunteering can help young people progress to other opportunities. He is now also leading an inclusion football team in the school he works in and mentors’ students with special educational needs.
