100FC In Focus - Tottenham Hotspur Foundation

We take a look at some of the clubs that have benefited from the 100FC programme, funded by the Wembley National Stadium Trust (WNST).

100FC is a game-changing female coaching programme, launched by London FA with significant investment from Wembley National Stadium Trust (WNST).

In line with The FA’s national strategy for women and girl’s football, 100FC is a three-year project to recruit and train 100 new female coaches per year through a funding coaching pathway.

For females aged 16 and over across London, coaches will be supported in their first steps in coaching, including funding for coaching courses and coaching placements across a range of organisations.

One organisation that is benefitting from the opportunities created through 100FC is the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and its integral programmes.

Dan Dodge, Tottenham Hotspur Foundation’s Workforce & Quality Assurance Manager, commented: “The 100FC initiative is a great way for us to attract female coaches and offer a funded pathway of support.

“This not only helps us diversify our workforce but also encourages female participation across our sessions through positive role modelling."

Students studying at UCFB spoke visited the Spurs Foundation to find out more.
