London FA is currently welcoming applications from individuals to become refereeing mentors and observers, to help us develop and support match officials across the capital.

Referee mentors provide guidance and encouragement to London’s referees, particularly those that are new to refereeing. Through this role, you will help to develop referees’ skills and confidence. In addition to this, as part of the referee promotion window, you will be appointed to a promotion candidate to support their application.

Meanwhile, referee observers deliver positive and constructive help to referees on the promotion scheme. Observers support referees’ desire for development or promotion, and can even ensure that referees are marked for the promotion scheme should you deem them ready.
