Our Cups and Competitions Officer, Jamaal Horne, in collaboration with Bad Raccoon Media, has put together a short documentary following some of London FA’s grassroots referees as they officiate London FA Youth Cup Finals. 

The documentary explores the reasons why referees chose to do the job they do, giving behind the scenes access to the running of cup finals from an officials point of view. An often selfless job, these referees detail the trails and tribulations of officiating some of the biggest matches in the London FA calendar as up-and-coming referees are given the opportunity to showcase their ability.

London U12 Saturday Cup Final (29 February 2020) – FFK [Fit4Kidz] v London Elite Futsal Youth U12s
London U13 Saturday Cup Final (29 February 2020) – Lambeth Tigers U13s v Clapham Rangers U13s
London U13 Champions Youth Cup Final (15 March 2020) – Lambeth Tigers U13s v Ryan FC U13s
London U14 Champions Youth Cup Final (15 March 2020) – Cre8tive Football Academy U14s v Dulwich Village U14s 

All matches were played before the first UK national lockdown in 2020.
